Security Incident Response Manager (Cyber Threat)

- Global financial services company

- Full-time permanent role

- Salary up to £100,000 plus bonus. Hybrid working (twice a week in the London office)

A large global financial services firm is seeking an Incident Response Manager within its cyber threat division. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large cyber and information security team that leads the way in technology and tooling in a 24/7 global environment.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing a team of Cyber Threat Analysts providing services to global users
  2. Driving continuous improvement in processes and procedures
  3. Overseeing security incidents and ensuring proper tools and protocols are followed
  4. Communicating with wider teams about emerging threats
  5. Developing new forensic capabilities
  6. Serving as an escalation point (on-call once a month for weekends)
  7. Leading information security projects
  8. Ensuring services meet business requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience in a technical cyber/incident response role
  • Previous team management experience
  • Good understanding of incident response frameworks and methodologies (e.g., ICERF)
  • Knowledge of threats, vulnerabilities, and response processes
  • Familiarity with incident response tools and measures
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, OSCE) are advantageous
