Job summary

Menzies LLP is seeking an IT Security Analyst to join the IT & Innovation team in the UK, with opportunities in Woking or Manchester. You will respond to security alerts, monitor internal and external security platforms, and help improve configurations to bolster security.

The role requires strong organizational skills, a curious mindset, and the ability to present concise findings to inform decisions. Collaboration with ServiceDesk and operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of IT security principles and data protection.
• Familiar with IT service management and change processes (ITIL).
• Ability to troubleshoot common IT issues and escalate when needed.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 environment and endpoint management.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial triage and investigation of security incidents.
• Monitor security alerts from SIEM and other tools.
• Participate in vulnerability management and patching.
• Maintain security documentation and procedures.
• Assist with reviews of vendor platforms for compliance checks.
• Provide cover for Security Manager.
