Job summary

Withers is seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to support security operations across the firm's global technology estate, with emphasis on endpoint detection and response, extended detection and response, cloud security, threat monitoring, behavioural analytics and vulnerability management.

The role requires strong communication with IT teams and senior stakeholders, a pragmatic service-focused approach, and the ability to prioritise under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber security, security operations or related tech role.
• Hands-on with security monitoring, alert triage, threat detection and remediation.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and regulatory/privacy frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage and investigate security alerts across monitoring platforms.
• Support incident response activities including containment and recovery.
• Maintain security monitoring rules, playbooks and reports.
• Assist with vulnerability management, due diligence and audit responses.
• Provide risk-based security advice for projects and cloud services.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity and resilience testing.
• Collaborate across offices for a consistent global security approach.
• Stay updated on technologies and emerging cyber threats.
