Job summary

Wren Kitchens is seeking a proactive IT Security Analyst to monitor, investigate and remediate threats within our IT Security team. You will collaborate with infrastructure, development and security partners to strengthen controls and security documentation.

The role offers hybrid work and requires DBS checks. You will work on threat remediation, security policy compliance and continuous improvement of security processes, reporting, and measures across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in incident response and threat remediation.
• Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, macOS and Android systems.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell and Python.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
• Familiarity with security tools such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, SIEM, Zscaler, Mimecast, Cisco, Azure, AWS, Cloudflare and Jamf.
• Excellent communication and organization.
• Cybersecurity certifications are advantageous but not essential.

About The Role

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated IT Security Analyst to join our IT Security team, helping to monitor and investigate threats, conduct proactive threat hunting and strengthen our overall security posture. Working closely with infrastructure, development teams and security partners, you’ll play a key role in threat remediation and improving our security processes and documentation.

The office is based in Barton-Upon-Humberand there are opportunities for hybrid work within this role. About You

Desired Skills and Knowledge

• Experience in incident response, forensic investigation and threat remediation, including targeted attacks.
• Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, macOS and Android systems.
• Experience with scripting/programming, particularly PowerShell and Python.
• Knowledge of security frameworks including ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
• Familiarity with security tools such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, SIEM, Zscaler, Mimecast, Cisco, Azure, AWS, Cloudflare and Jamf.
• Strong communication, organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC or SC-900 are advantageous but not essential.
