Job summary

Test Valley Borough Council, in partnership with Winchester City Council, invites applications for an IT Project Officer to join the IT Shared Service. The role supports project governance, risk and issue management, planning, and stakeholder communication across a programme of IT modernisation.

The post is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2028, full-time 37 hours per week, based in Andover and Winchester with flexible working options. Salary scale £32,155 to £35,026.92 per annum (Grade 6).

Qualifications

• Experience with PRINCE2 and project governance.
• Coordinate project reports, logs, and documentation.
• Deliver projects to time and budget within IT Shared Service.

• Provide project management expertise across IT projects.
• Governance, risk and issue management across portfolio.
• Plan, report, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings and maintain project documentation.
