Job summary

Boots is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead a large-scale Retail technology transformation, including the replacement of our EPOS system, across Boots stores in the UK and Republic of Ireland. The role is based on-site in Nottingham/Beeston and offers the chance to shape technology at scale.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage milestones, and ensure financial governance while delivering a Stock Management system and other solutions across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large IT projects from start to finish.
• Strong ability to collaborate with team members across departments and third-party organisations to build and deliver the project plan.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a knack for building relationships and influencing outcomes.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Resilience in the face of challenges, with a supportive approach to team members.
• Highly motivated and committed to the success of the team.
• Understanding of project management frameworks and standards, including financial governance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and elevate issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate all aspects of the project to ensure successful delivery of customer and business objectives.
• Bring together project team members from across the business and third-party organisations to build and deliver the project plan.
• Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning and implementation to evaluation.
• Adhere to project management frameworks and standards, ensuring good financial governance.
• Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and elevate issues as required.
