Overview

We are seeking an experienced Functional Specialist to join the team on a 6-month assignment. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing the supply of IT Services, Hardware, Software (and support renewals), and SaaS (Cloud) in line with internal policies, procedures, and relevant UK procurement legislation. A strong background in working with Tier 1 technology partners will be essential. You'll collaborate with Category Managers and business stakeholders to develop both standard and complex contracting and sourcing strategies, ensuring cost efficiency and robust contractual terms that mitigate delivery risks. You will also play a key role in supplier relationship and performance management activities, while driving efficiencies across sourcing processes within the wider Procurement and Commercial function. Additionally, you'll take ownership of software and support renewals—developing and delivering Strategic Plans to optimise commercial value, secure savings, and deliver sustainable benefits for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
