Job summary

QinetiQ Group plc at RAF Waddington (Lincoln) seeks an IT Infrastructure Administrator to manage UNIX/Linux and Windows Server environments across production and development systems. You will resolve incidents, perform upgrades, and support security configuration on site.

The role requires DV clearance and experience with VMware, automation tools, and ITSM processes to ensure secure, governed operations. 37 hours per week, on site at Lincoln. We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Experience administering enterprise Windows Server and/or UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure incidents across server environments.
• Knowledge of VMware or other enterprise virtualisation technologies.
• Experience with backup, recovery and disaster recovery processes.
• Experience using PowerShell, shell scripting or other automation tools.
• Experience working within secure, regulated or highly governed IT environments and following IT Service Management processes.
• Active MOD DV security clearance.

QinetiQ operates the RAF Waddington site in Lincolnshire in supporting advanced defence technology, flight systems engineering, and synthetic training environments.
