Job summary

The Hartford is seeking an IT Operations Manager to lead the delivery, stability and continuous improvement of critical business systems across The Hartford International. Based in London, you will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, drive high-quality operational support, and align technology solutions with business needs, taking ownership of infrastructure, security and risk controls.

Qualifications

Significant technology experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
Substantial experience leading IT operations, application support or service-delivery teams.
Experience managing IT vendors, contracts and operational budgets.
Experience of IT risk, audit, security, regulatory and control environments.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery and continuous improvement of IT operations and support services across key systems.
Manage and prioritise the enhancement pipeline with stakeholders and resources.
Establish operational performance metrics and ensure security, compliance and governance.
Oversee incident management, DR/BCP, and production deployments.
Develop and lead IT teams, including recruitment, coaching and performance management.
