Job summary

JSS in London is seeking an IT Operations Functional Lead to build a BAU IT operations capability from the ground up. You will own the service desk, operational controls, and supplier management, shaping processes and controls for a fast-growing, data-rich business.

You will work hands-on across platform monitoring, cyber hygiene, incident response and resilience testing, collaborating with third-party providers to deliver reliable IT services globally.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT operations in a growing or change-led environment.
• Proven ability to establish processes, controls and operations from a blank sheet.
• Experience managing third-party technology providers and driving accountability for service delivery.
• Knowledge of service desk operations, monitoring, backup testing and cyber hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Build and establish a BAU IT operations function with service management disciplines.
• Set up and oversee service desk capability and day-to-day IT requests handling.
• Work with third-party providers to manage service requests and user administration.
• Deploy and manage platform monitoring across time zones and operating windows.
• Own cybersecurity operations including joiners/movers/leavers and incident response processes.
• Ensure backup testing and operational resilience are embedded.
• Hold third-party providers accountable for quality and delivery outcomes.
• Create a scalable operating model that evolves with the business.
