Job summary

Cloudsmith is seeking a hands‑on IT Operations Engineer to build secure, scalable internal IT for a remote‑first organization. You’ll manage identity, devices, SaaS tooling, and service workflows while driving automation and reliability.

The role involves occasional on‑site support and close collaboration with Security and Operations in Belfast. You will implement secure IT processes, automate repetitive tasks, and maintain evidence trails for compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of IT operations experience in a modern SaaS, tech, or remote‑first environment.
• Hands‑on experience with endpoint management, device lifecycle, MDM, patching, encryption, and secure device posture.
• Experience administering identity and access systems, SaaS tooling, collaboration platforms, service desk workflows, and access reviews.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve core corporate IT systems including identity, device management, collaboration tooling, service desk workflows, and SaaS administration.
• Automate Joiner‑Mover‑Leaver processes across access, identity, devices, asset provisioning, and software licensing.
• Support secure endpoint management through MDM, encryption, patching, device posture, remote lock/wipe, and lifecycle controls.
