Job summary

The Economist Group in London is seeking an IT operations engineer to join the IT operations team. You will provide 1st and 2nd line support and assist with 3rd line issues, spanning Mac/PC OS, software and infrastructure, with on-site and remote work on a rota basis.

You will develop a strong understanding of business workflows, support audio visual services, and coordinate with other IT teams to keep processes running smoothly. Hybrid working with 3+ days in the office is in place.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering IT support services across regions and time zones.
• Knowledge of business workflows and IT support processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line and 1st line IT support, with involvement in 3rd line issues and projects.
• Document and maintain procedures and configuration information.
• Manage change for Mac/PC OS and software using toolsets.
