Job summary

Bristow Holland is recruiting for an experienced IT Manager to join a growing and established business based in Bury St Edmunds. This role combines hands-on technical involvement with people management and strategic responsibility to shape the technology roadmap and support business growth.

You will lead IT infrastructure, service desk, ERP and business systems, while collaborating with senior leadership to align IT with strategic objectives and ensure robust cybersecurity and DR practices

Qualifications

Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar, with responsibility of managing a team.
Strong technical background across Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, networking and infrastructure.
Experience supporting or managing an ERP system and business-critical applications.
Good understanding of cybersecurity, IT service management and disaster recovery.
Experience delivering IT projects and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Managing and developing a team across IT infrastructure, service desk and business systems.
Overseeing and improving IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services and cybersecurity.
Oversee the company's ERP system and wider business applications, supporting upgrades and improvements.
Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex IT issues.
Deliver IT projects, system improvements and technology initiatives.
Manage external suppliers, disaster recovery and business continuity.
Work closely with senior leadership to align IT strategy with business objectives.
