Job summary

Sealey Group, a leading UK hand, power tool and equipment distributor, seeks an experienced IT Manager for our head office in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Reporting to the IT Director, you will lead the IT function across infrastructure, service desk and ERP (Dynamics AX), delivering a secure, scalable technology environment that supports current operations and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT management or equivalent leadership roles.
• Experience managing ERP platforms and associated teams.
• Experience with cybersecurity controls and compliance (Cyber Essentials+).
• Experience ensuring GDPR compliance and data protection.
• ITIL-aligned service management with incident, change, and reporting.
• Ability to present service performance and roadmaps to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Line manage Infrastructure, Networks & Service Desk and Business Systems teams.
• Lead delivery and continual improvement of IT infrastructure and service desk operations.
• Prepare and present monthly IT service reports with metrics and risks.
• Oversee ERP, reporting and internal business platforms integration.
• Own the IT roadmap and align with business processes.
• Develop and test IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Provide out-of-hours support during critical incidents.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to drive technology improvements.
