Job summary

Evera Recruitment Ltd is seeking an IT Manager to take ownership of its IT infrastructure, systems and cyber security within a growing engineering consultancy and advanced manufacturing business. You will build a secure, scalable IT environment to support ongoing growth across marine, industrial, automotive and defence sectors.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years IT experience in engineering, tech or manufacturing.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration, incl. Azure, Entra ID and Intune.
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, endpoint management and cyber-security controls.
• Experience implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience managing IT suppliers, licences and contracts.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users and senior management.

The company designs and manufactures battery packs, electronics and charging systems for the marine, industrial, automotive and defence sectors, and this role will build a secure, scalable IT environment to support its continued growth.

The IT Manager will be responsible for:

• Developing and delivering the company's IT strategy, roadmap and budget.
• Managing IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, hardware and Microsoft 365.
• Leading cyber security, including achieving and maintaining Cyber Essentials Plus.
