Job summary

Arcas Technology Ltd is seeking an IT Manager to lead a small team responsible for our Microsoft-based environment, infrastructure, and security. You will own Azure, Entra ID, and Intune, guiding modernisation while delivering reliable operations.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong stakeholder management and a proactive approach to drive cloud adoption, patching, backup, and governance across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VMware, and networking.

Qualifications

• Experience leading small IT teams in SME or mid-sized environments.
• Strong Azure and Microsoft 365 engineering capability.
• Hands-on Intune and Entra ID management experience.
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure and cloud projects end to end.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive, improvement-led approach with clear technical ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop our small IT team across infrastructure, cloud, and support.
• Own Azure, Entra ID, and Intune administration, governance, and modernisation.
• Manage Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, security, and compliance.
• Oversee Windows Server, AD, GPO, DNS/DHCP, and core identity services.
• Manage VMware and Hyper‑V virtualisation platforms.
• Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption projects.
• Implement security controls, patching, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
• Manage vendors, budgets, SLAs, and service performance.
• Act as 3rd‑line escalation for complex issues.
• Drive continual improvement across systems, processes, and service delivery.
