Job summary

Arcas Technology Ltd is seeking an IT Manager to own and evolve a Microsoft-based environment, leading a small team across infrastructure, cloud and support.

The role focuses on Azure, Entra ID and Intune administration with governance and modernisation, while delivering reliable services aligned to business priorities and security requirements.

You will manage Windows Server, AD, VMware/Hyper-V, and Microsoft 365, driving upgrades, disaster recovery, and strong vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience leading small IT teams in SME or mid-sized environments.
• Strong Azure and Microsoft 365 engineering capability.
• Hands-on Intune and Entra ID management experience.
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure and cloud projects end to end.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive, improvement-led approach with clear technical ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop our small IT team across infrastructure, cloud, and support.
• Own Azure, Entra ID, and Intune administration, governance, and modernisation.
• Manage Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, security, and compliance.
• Oversee Windows Server, AD, GPO, DNS/DHCP, and core identity services.
• Manage VMware and Hyper-V virtualisation platforms.
• Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption projects.
• Implement security controls, patching, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
• Manage vendors, budgets, SLAs, and service performance.
• Act as 3rd-line escalation for complex issues.
• Drive continual improvement across systems, processes, and service delivery.
