About the Role

As a Lecturer in Digital Technologies, you will develop and deliver high-quality learning programmes to students with a range of abilities and aspirations. You will teach across Digital and IT subjects, including Foundation Degree-level qualifications, using a variety of teaching methods to create stimulating and inclusive learning experiences.

You will play a key role in supporting student achievement, progression, and wellbeing while contributing to the continued success and growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and outstanding Digital and IT learning programmes.
• Plan and teach lessons that inspire students and support high levels of achievement.
• Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback on student work.
• Monitor and support learner progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met.
• Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
• Lead programmes or courses, maintaining high standards of behaviour and performance.
• Embed Maths, English, and digital skills within teaching and learning.
• Support student recruitment, enrolment, retention, and progression activities.
• Work collaboratively with parents, employers, external agencies, and student support services.
• Analyse course and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
