Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is offering a 13‑month IT Intern - Business & Projects placement in East Kilbride, Scotland. The role blends business analysis, project coordination and application support within the Group IT team.

You will gain hands-on experience across IT project delivery, business process improvement, stakeholder engagement and reporting, while developing skills in requirement gathering, testing and deployment under guidance.

Qualifications

• Currently studying at university and seeking an industrial placement year.
• Interest in IT, business analysis, project management, process improvement, data analysis or business systems.
• Applications welcomed from students of all backgrounds and disciplines; potential and attitude matter.
• UK driving license: full licence for at least one year.
• UK Residency: eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, data and requirements to identify improvements and support design.
• Document business requirements, user stories, processes and specs.
• Support IT project delivery through planning, tracking milestones and status reports.
• Gather requirements, coordinate activities and support change initiatives with stakeholders.
• Assist with testing, validation and deployment including test planning and defect management.
• Provide application support and knowledge documentation to improve service delivery.
• Develop understanding of application ownership, lifecycle management and supplier coordination.
• Collaborate with project teams and placement students on IT improvement initiatives.
• Take ownership of smaller projects and continuous improvement activities under guidance.
• Build skills in business analysis, project management, stakeholder engagement and tech solutions.
