Job Title: EUC IT Desktop Support Technician

Job Type & Location: Onsite, 5 days a week (40 hrs/week), Northampton, UK

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience providing IT Infrastructure field support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and OS issues, ensuring compliance with hardware warranty and security requirements.
• Experience in installing, troubleshooting, and fixing desktops, printers, laptops, and peripherals, as well as desktop applications.
• Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups; ability to perform site activities under instruction.
• Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Expertise in desk-side support and PC break/fix, with basic administration of Windows, Mac, or Linux OS.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, RDP.
• Support for peripherals and networking hardware under 'Smart Hands' capabilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems and network issues using deductive reasoning.
• Experience in repeat call analysis and problem management.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and management.
• Ability to meet deadlines, proactive, and work with urgency.
• Preferably an Associate Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification; vendor certifications (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, Client) are a plus.
• Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Remedy.
• Good customer management skills, communication skills, and ability to interact at different levels.
