Job summary

Flotek Group is seeking an enthusiastic IT Delivery Engineer to ensure smooth delivery of IT projects. You will set up Microsoft 365, Azure, workstations, servers, domain controllers, Hyper‑V, and more, while guiding clients through migrations and deployments.

The role involves hands-on delivery, onboarding, and ongoing client training, with a focus on security products and network setup. DBS checks apply; candidates must reside in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in an IT Service Desk or IT Delivery role.
• Excellent communication skills and a great telephone manner.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows client operating systems and M365 cloud products.
• Experience creating and maintaining Microsoft Entra/Active Directory user accounts and security groups.
• Experience with SharePoint management.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the IT Delivery Team Leader.
• Setup and installation of new workstations and laptop devices.
• Rollout of Flotek security products, MDR, Email Threat Protection, Anti Virus solutions, document and password management applications.
• Assist in large-scale email and data migrations.
• Lead and own smaller-scale email and data migrations.
• Setup and management of print devices and dictation devices.
• Installation of bespoke client applications, e.g. legal case handling software.
• Installation and configuration of LAN networking equipment.
• Setup and install of firewall devices including security features.
• Hands-on technical troubleshooting, resolution of incidents and change requests.
• Creating and maintaining detailed project documentation, including technical specifications and user guides.
• Communicate with partners to ensure regular updates on the project journey.
• Train clients on newly rolled out technologies and applications.

Please Note: we are required to carry out a DBS check for every open vacancy.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows client operating systems and M365 cloud products.
• Experience creating and maintaining Microsoft Entra/Active Directory user accounts and security groups.
• Experience with SharePoint management.
• Experience building and maintaining end‑user computer systems.
• Experience using IT Service Management software.
• Knowledge of security technologies and network technologies (LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi).
• Full UK driving licence.
