Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an IT Manager – Change Management in the Newcastle area to own end-to-end change governance across IT. You will ensure changes are controlled, documented, and aligned with ITIL, DevOps, and CI/CD practices, while partnering with business leaders to minimise risk.

You will drive CAB meetings, analytics in ServiceNow, and improvements to the change process, including automation and governance, to increase resilience and transparency across the IT landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience managing changes across multiple regions and complex structures.
• Strong governance, risk assessment, and CAB meeting leadership.
• Broad technical knowledge of IT systems with CMDB impact analysis.
• Ability to influence executives and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of Change Management with ITIL-aligned governance.
• Lead CAB meetings, evaluate risk, and drive strategic decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure compliant, traceable changes.
• Maintain CI records in CMDB and align with DevOps/CI‑CD pipelines.
• Develop KPI-driven reporting in ServiceNow to improve automation.
