Job summary

KINGS HILL SCHOOL (Cirencester Kingshill School) in Swindon is seeking an IT/AV Technician to join our busy IT team and support students and staff with practical IT solutions. You will work alongside the IT Manager on an IT modernisation programme, maintaining devices, networks and AV equipment across the school.

The role requires IT support experience, strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and common applications, plus good problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• IT support experience in an educational environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and common applications.
• Excellent problem solving and clear communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise a varied workload and work both independently and in a team.

HELP US SHAPE THE FUTURE OF TECHNOLOGY AT KINGSHILL

We are looking for an IT/AV Technician to join our friendly, busy IT team and play a key role in supporting our students and staff.

This is an exciting time to join Kingshill. We are embarking on an IT modernisation programme, and you will work alongside our IT Manager to support, maintain and develop the technology that keeps the school connected and learning.

No two days will be quite the same. From troubleshooting hardware and software and supporting Windows and Microsoft 365, to maintaining devices, networks and AV equipment, you will provide practical, responsive support across the school. There is also potential to be involved in a future transition to Google.

Experience of education IT, Microsoft networks, Google Workspace or educational software would be an advantage, but is not essential. A formal IT qualification is also desirable rather than essential.
