Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an IT & AV Engineer / IT Support Engineer for a permanent role in Cambridge. The successful candidate will handle escalation for IT and AV, support the helpdesk, maintain networks and core services, and assist with projectors and hybrid meeting technology.

The role covers end-user devices, Microsoft 365, and core infrastructure within a prestigious education environment, offering stability, clear progression, and a balanced 37.5-hour week with standard

Qualifications

• Experience in 1st/2nd line IT support with Windows 11 and Windows Server knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft 365/Office, and typical IT peripherals (printers/scanners/VoIP).
• Confident working across IT and basic AV/meeting room technology.

Responsibilities

• Senior escalation support for IT and AV, taking ownership of complex issues
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the helpdesk and service documentation
• Supporting networks (wired/wireless), servers and core services (DNS/DHCP)
• Supporting Microsoft 365 and end-user devices (Windows 11), peripherals and BYOD
