Places for People is hiring an IT Asset Management Lead to own the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets across the organisation. You will lead the ITAM function, ensuring assets are procured, tracked, issued, refreshed and disposed of efficiently and securely, working with Service Desk, Procurement and Finance.
You will maintain asset data accuracy, governance, and provide clear insights into asset performance, costs and risks while supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

As our IT Asset Management Lead, you will take ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets across the organisation.You'lllead the ITAM function, ensuring assets and devices areprocured, tracked, issued, refreshed, and disposed of efficiently and securely. Working closely with Service Desk, Field Support, Procurement, Finance, and technical teams,you'llmake sure the right assets are available at the right time to support colleagues.
You'llbe responsible formaintainingaccurateand reliable asset data, ensuring strong governance, andprovidingclear insight into asset performance, costs, and risks.You'llalso play a key role in supporting audits, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to simplify processes and strengthen operational control.
This role is based on site5 days a week in Preston.

You'llbe proactive and detail-focused, with a commitment to improving processes andmaintaininghigh standardsof control and compliance.You'recomfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy creating structure, clarity, and efficiency across asset management operations.
