IT Asset Management Analyst - 12 Month FTC

Purpose of the Role
We have a requirement for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract and are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Analyst to join a fast-paced team in the Legal Sector. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and an interest in data analysis. The role involves learning existing processes within the ITAM team, including vendor quote requests, goods receipt, updating purchase orders in ServiceNow, Hardware Asset Management, and handling residual Starters, Movers & Leavers, and access control tasks. The analyst will contribute to implementing procedures for tracking the lifecycle of company IT hardware and software assets, while delivering high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform inventories and monitor usage of all IT hardware and software assets, recording findings, changes, and physical locations in ServiceNow.
2. Request quotes for hardware/software, assess pricing, and seek approvals to facilitate efficient ordering.
3. Create and update Purchase Orders, ensuring delivery confirmation.
4. Manage vendor relationships and understand key contracts.
5. Create transfer orders for inter-site hardware transfers, ensuring accurate updates in ServiceNow.
6. Manage incidents and requests, providing regular updates to requestors.
7. Participate in asset disposal processes, ensuring proper disposal and updating ServiceNow with disposal certificates.
8. Handle 'Starters, Movers, Leavers' processes within the firm's IT systems.
9. Maintain and update the Vodafone mobile portal, including setting up new numbers and disconnecting leavers, analyzing monthly reports for accuracy.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience administering ServiceNow, especially Asset Management modules.
• Knowledge of IT asset management lifecycle processes.
• Experience with IT procurement, purchase orders, and stock receipt.
• Understanding of ITIL framework, particularly Asset Management, Request Fulfilment, and Configuration Management.
• Good understanding of desktop/laptop hardware.
• Proactive in identifying improvements and sharing lessons learned.
• Customer-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with appropriate prioritization.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project and support teams.
