Our client is seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and support established IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, including vendor management, hardware and software procurement, and the administration of their asset management systems. You will also assist with some elements of Starters, Movers & Leavers (SML) processes and access control tasks. The IT Asset Management Analyst will contribute to the implementation and enhancement of procedures for tracking company IT hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle, while delivering a high-quality customer service experience.

What You'll Do:

• Perform inventories and usage monitoring of IT hardware and software assets, recording all findings and updates, including physical locations, within the IT Service Management (ITSM) toolkit (ServiceNow)
• Request quotes for hardware and software, assess pricing, and seek approvals to ensure efficient order placements
• Create and update Purchase Orders, ensuring all goods have been delivered and accurately recorded
• Manage vendor relationships and understand key contracts owned by the ITAM team
• Create transfer orders for the movement of IT equipment between sites, ensuring proper documentation and updates in ServiceNow
• Take ownership of incidents and requests through to completion, providing regular, informed updates to stakeholders

Who We're Looking For:

• Knowledge and experience with administering ServiceNow, particularly the Asset Management Database
• Solid understanding and experience of IT asset management lifecycle processes
• Experience in IT procurement, including raising purchase orders and receiving stock
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework, especially Asset Management, Request Fulfilment, and Configuration Management
• Good understanding of desktop and laptop hardware
• A proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and sharing best practices with the team
