Job summary

Places for People is looking for an Asset & Connectivity Administrator in Preston. You will manage IT hardware, software licences, and asset records throughout their lifecycle, supporting procurement, disposal and licence compliance.

You’ll work with IT security and other teams to improve processes and reduce costs. Based in Preston five days a week, the role also provides first-line support for connectivity incidents and generates reports for stakeholders to drive better decision-making within

Qualifications

• Experience in IT asset management or related IT operations.
• Experience using IT asset management tools or software to maintain asset records.
• Knowledge of software licensing, audits or compliance requirements.
• Experience maintaining inventories and producing asset, compliance or cost reports.
• Experience providing first-line support or troubleshooting IT connectivity incidents.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT hardware lifecycle and asset records across locations.
• Support procurement and responsible disposal of assets.
• Monitor software licences and ensure compliance across systems.
• Produce stakeholder reports on assets, costs and compliance.
• Provide first-line support for connectivity incidents and coordinate with IT teams.
