Excel Technology Group, a pioneering force in technology solutions for the UK's Taxi, Private Hire, and Chauffeur industries, is offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring IT professionals through its IT Apprenticeship Programme.

With a proud history of innovation—including the creation of the world’s first mobile data dispatch system and the introduction of Caller ID integration with traditional phone lines—Excel is looking for motivated, tech-savvy individuals eager to kickstart their careers in a fast-paced and forward-thinking environment.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Assist with password resets, & administration of Microsoft 365.
• Conduct Configurations like MFA set up, anti-virus, user access control as part of 1st Line support.
• Use technical specifications and potentially network diagrams or vendor documents to understand and resolve issues.
• Supporting customer via the Helpdesk.
• Support with clients SLA's by ensuring all customer issues are logged, prioritised and either resolved or escalated promptly.
• Using tools such as Command Prompt, PowerShell, Wireshark and SolarWinds for troubleshooting.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, including day and night shifts.
• Work 40 hours per week with weekend support every 6 weeks on a rota basis.
• 20 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
