Job summary

Limbs & Things is offering an Information Communications Technician apprenticeship designed to provide hands-on IT support experience, mentorship from experts, and exposure to modern business systems.

You will help users, maintain Microsoft 365 services, assist with onboarding, and contribute to technical documentation while following security best practices.

Qualifications

  • Essential English GCSE grade 3+ or higher.
  • Essential Maths GCSE grade 3+ or higher.
  • Desirable GCSEs grade 4+ in any subject.
  • Desirable GCSEs grade 4+ in any subject.
  • Desirable GCSEs grade 4+ in any subject.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a first point of contact for IT support requests, incidents, and service inquiries.
  • Providing technical support to users via phone, email, remote support tools, and in person.
  • Assisting with the diagnosis and resolution of hardware, software, and account-related issues.
  • Supporting user onboarding and offboarding activities, including account creation, access management, and equipment setup.
  • Assisting with the administration of Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Entra ID.
  • Helping maintain end-user devices, software deployments, and mobile device management systems.
  • Supporting the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio and video conferencing equipment.
  • Helping maintain the IT desk setups for office-based staff.
  • Creating and updating technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Following IT policies, procedures, and security best practices at all times.
  • And any other tasks as required by the IT Department

What You'll Do

Main responsibilities:
