Job summary

Bolton Council is seeking an IT Applications Support Officer to join the Development Management team to provide day-to-day support for IDOX Uniform and help define requirements for a modern platform replacement.

The role will help ensure business continuity, improve platform security, and enhance user experience while supporting digital transformation across planning and building control services. A degree or equivalent in information management/IT is required with strong ITIL knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with managing Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Experience of managing applications hosted in Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
• Understanding of ITIL-based processes and service management.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT Applications support for IDOX Uniform.
• Define requirements and support procurement activities for a modern platform replacement.
• Help implement a modern replacement platform and ensure business continuity.
