Job summary

Saffery LLP is seeking an IT Applications Analyst to own a portfolio of business-critical applications, delivering 2nd and 3rd line support and coordinating upgrades and enhancements with business stakeholders.

You will work with SaaS platforms and Azure-hosted client/server applications, applying ITIL change and release processes, and collaborate with project managers to implement new systems and improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience providing 2nd/3rd line support for business-critical applications.
• Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, client/server systems and Azure-hosted applications.
• Knowledge of ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change processes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; SQL, logs or API integrations are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own incidents, problems and service requests at 2nd/3rd line.
• Manage vendor escalations for SaaS and third‑party hosted applications.
• Monitor application health, availability, performance and security.
• Plan, test and implement upgrades and patches.
• Maintain configurations, integrations and system documentation.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and business SMEs on new system implementations.
• Deliver training and communicate changes to users.
