Job summary

Leapfrog Recruitment Consultants in Scotland is seeking an organised IT support professional to join a busy team, gaining exposure to a wide range of technologies while collaborating with colleagues across the business to deliver effective technical solutions.

You will provide first-line IT and application support, log and resolve incidents, and assist with system administration, software updates and equipment deployment.

• Support application testing and product releases.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user records.
• Monitor systems, identify issues and assist with incident resolution.
• Support IT projects, disaster recovery testing and business improvement initiatives.
• Deliver excellent customer service and technical support to users at all levels.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be someone who is early in their career, ideally in their first or second professional role, with a genuine interest in developing within IT and application support. Previous experience in a customer-facing role is essential, as you'll be providing support by phone, email and in person, so you'll need to be a confident communicator with excellent customer service skills. While previous IT experience isn't essential, you'll have a natural interest in technology, enjoy solving problems and be keen to learn new systems and applications. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach are key, together with the ability to build positive relationships and deliver a consistently high standard of support in a busy environment.
