In this role, you will:

• Lead the design and architecture of stream-specific applications aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Design and implement integrations for seamless data and process flow between systems such as ERP and CMS, ensuring interoperability.
• Analyze and optimize existing business processes and workflows in collaboration with business and IT teams.
• Advocate for a cohesive enterprise-wide approach to technology investments supporting scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with governance standards, legal, and regulatory requirements, collaborating with relevant teams.
• Work with security, governance, and product teams to implement security best practices.
• Document architecture designs and analyses thoroughly.
• Align technology and delivery approaches with overall IT strategies.
• Represent BDO UK and IT interests with the BDO Network and third-party suppliers.
• Assess the organizational and financial impact of application architecture.
• Position IT Architecture as a valuable asset within BDO.

You should have:

• Proven experience as an Application Architect, delivering successful projects in product-oriented organizations.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and Azure PaaS solutions.
• Proficiency with integration tools (APIs, ESBs, iPaaS) and familiarity with cloud/hybrid architectures.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and data governance best practices.
• Ability to manage technology partners and vendors effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of industry trends, suppliers, and products.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills.
• Understanding of practice management software systems and their integration points is advantageous.
