The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization leads efforts to create the desired customer experience through support, digital transformation, and operational excellence across CE&S.

Microsoft aims to assist customers in digital transformation by leveraging Microsoft cloud solutions and services. To support this, Microsoft is creating a Customer Success team dedicated to helping customers adopt Microsoft Cloud solutions successfully.

This team will focus on change management, adoption activities, and reducing implementation risks by engaging with business and IT decision makers, promoting solution usage, and identifying opportunities for faster realization of business value.

We are seeking a motivated Azure Infrastructure Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to focus on migrations to Azure. This customer-facing role involves architectural design, implementation projects, and pilots, requiring experience in engaging with senior executives, enterprise architects, and IT teams to drive infrastructure solutions and migrations. The role includes technical strategy implementation, upskilling initiatives, guiding field teams, and collaborating on customer content development. You will serve as a key link between field teams and the organization, working closely with product teams to incorporate new advancements and lead high-priority customer initiatives. This position offers flexibility to work remotely.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure solutions (e.g., Windows/Linux IaaS, SAP, BCDR, Security, Storage, Networking, containers, Infra as code, AVD, AVS), with broad technical experience and adaptability to new technologies.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure deployments and migrations in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience in consultative migration, modernization, and deployment projects, managing stakeholder relationships to reach consensus.
• Experience supporting large enterprise accounts with cloud solutions and migrations.
• Ability to build strong technical relationships with senior IT leaders and grow data services in strategic accounts.
• Excellent decision-making, conflict resolution, and communication skills, with comfort in presenting to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer infrastructure, priorities, and success metrics to design solutions.
• Create migration and modernization roadmaps, ensuring technical feasibility and successful deployment of solutions involving various infrastructure technologies.
• Develop relationships with key IT decision-makers to promote long-term cloud adoption.
• Maintain and enhance technical skills, stay updated on market trends, and share knowledge.
• Act as a Voice of Customer, sharing insights and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve blockers.
• Promote Azure platform among customers, partners, and communities.
• Assess customer cloud readiness and support structured learning plans through partners.
