Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the design and architecture of specific applications aligned with organisational goals and industry standards.
• Designing and implementing integrations for seamless data and process flow between systems.
• Analyzing business processes for optimization and collaborating on improvements.
• Promoting a cohesive, enterprise-wide approach to technology investments supporting scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with governance, legal, and regulatory standards, working with relevant teams.
• Implementing security best practices and ensuring regulatory compliance within applications.
• Documenting architecture designs and analyses.
• Aligning technology approaches with overall IT and architecture strategies.
• Representing BDO UK and coordinating with the network and third-party suppliers.
• Assessing organizational and financial impacts of application architecture.
• Positioning IT Architecture as a valuable asset to BDO.

Your ideal profile includes:

• Experience as an Application Architect delivering successful projects in product-focused organizations.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and Azure PaaS solutions.
• Proficiency with integration tools and cloud/hybrid architectures.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and data governance.
• Ability to manage technology vendors and define architectures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of IT industry trends and products.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills.
• Understanding of practice management software systems and their integration points is advantageous.
