Hometrack Data Systems Limited is seeking an Information Security Manager for a 12‑month FTC. The role oversees ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials, ensuring security governance across data, systems, and processes in a banking/mortgage‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Information Security Manager or Senior Security Officer in tech/FinTech/PropTech.
• Direct experience in the Financial Services sector (banking, mortgage lending, or credit processing).
• End‑to‑end ownership of ISO 27001 ISMS and Cyber Essentials / Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Solid understanding of GDPR and data protection laws.
• Broad cloud/security tech understanding (IAM, DevSecOps, network security) and ability to translate risk for executives.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain ISMS and Cyber Essentials certifications; drive improvements.
• Plan and oversee security audits, risk management, and policy enforcement.
• Align security with regulatory expectations for UK/EU banking and mortgages.
• Collaborate with tech teams to embed security by design and manage vulnerabilities.
