Job summary

Randstad Care is seeking a Residential Support Worker for 3-month contracts across Shetland, Orkney and the Western Isles. The role offers £23/hr (Umbrella) with guaranteed 45+ hours per week, and relocation support for applicants from across the UK.

You will provide high-quality, person-centred care, assist with dressing, mobility and personal hygiene, and safely administer medications while maintaining resident wellbeing. Candidates should be prepared to relocate temporarily.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional care experience, preferably in care homes.
• Competency in personal care, medication administration and safe moving and handling.
• Willingness to relocate or travel for a 3-month contract.
• Driving license is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered care including dressing, mobility and hygiene.
• Safely administer prescribed medications and monitor health.
• Use safe moving and handling techniques while maintaining dignity.
• Support residents and adapt to lone-working periods.
