Job summary

Randstad Care is recruiting care professionals for placements in remote island communities across Shetland, Orkney, the Western Isles, or Argyll and Bute. All accommodation is provided, and ferry expenses are reimbursed.

A minimum 3-month block with 45+ hours per week (5–6 days) is expected, with flexible scheduling and opportunities across care homes and home care. Shifts include long days (07:00–22:00), occasional 07:00–15:00 or night shifts (22:00–07:00) for care-home roles, or 07:00–23:00

Qualifications

• Experienced care professionals available for immediate placement.
• Willingness to relocate temporarily to island locations and work high-hour schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in care home settings or home-based care.
• Work long days with a mix of shifts (7:00–22:00, 22:00–07:00) and flexible patterns.
