Job summary

AmcoGiffen is seeking a Level 3 IRATA Rope Access Technician to join our Scotland-based operations. You will be embedded with the Operational team delivering asset maintenance and inspection across Scotland's rail network.

You will lead rope access activities, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with site management and design teams from our Inverness regional office. A varied pipeline of projects offers ongoing professional development and field challenges.

Qualifications

• IRATA Level 3 certification is required.
• First Aid certification is required.
• Proven rope access experience in industrial/geotechnical environments.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and practice.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, risk assessments and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor rope access technicians on complex rigging, access and inspection activities.
• Oversee project teams to ensure safety, quality and adherence to specifications.
• Plan rope access tasks in coordination with site management and design teams.
• Maintain and inspect rope access equipment, ensuring safe working condition.
