Job summary

Trace Surveys Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks a Cladding & Glazing Maintenance Technician to inspect and maintain facades and glazing across the country. Access is by rope, with full training provided, including IRATA certification.

You will perform defect surveys, repairs, sealant checks, and support maintenance contracts on varied projects. No rope access experience is required initially; we’ll train you up to IRATA Levels 2/3 as hours build, with a company vehicle, phone, laptop, and pension.

Qualifications

• Hands-on trade background in cladding, façade, or glazing installation/maintenance.
• Comfortable working outdoors and at height.
• Willingness to complete rope access training (IRATA Level 1 and beyond).
• Good eye for detail to spot what others miss.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and maintain facades, cladding systems, and glazing.
• Carry out defect surveys, remedial repairs, sealant checks, and leak investigations.
• Work nationwide, access by rope, and support ongoing maintenance contracts.
