Job summary

Archer in Scotland is looking for a Rope Access Electrician / Rope Access Electrical Supervisor. This contractor role involves ensuring project safety and compliance, and working in the energy industry in the North Sea.

The chosen candidate will need relevant experience and qualifications including Compex level 4 and IRATA Rope Access certification. This position operates on a 3/3 rotation starting July till the end of 2026.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a similar onshore/offshore role in the energy industry in the North Sea is required.
• Must have electrical engineering qualifications/certifications.
• Compex level 4 and IRATA Rope Access certification needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project work is performed safely and comply with regulations.
• Liaise with Senior Company Representative to prevent delays.
• Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, loop, and functional testing.
