Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a contract role in Ipswich to oversee multi-site civil engineering schemes. You will ensure safe delivery, on programme and within budget, coordinating design, construction and site teams.

The role requires leadership, NEC contract experience and strong stakeholder management to deliver projects that benefit local communities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering.
• Strong background delivering infrastructure, flood alleviation, earthworks, drainage, highways or environmental projects
• Experience managing projects under NEC contracts
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and programme management experience
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project teams

Responsibilities

• Managing projects safely, on programme and within budget
• Leading Site Agents, Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors
• Developing and maintaining project programmes
• Managing client relationships and attending progress meetings
• Overseeing quality assurance, ITPs and project documentation
• Monitoring project performance, risks and opportunities
• Working closely with commercial teams to ensure effective cost control
• Coordinating design, temporary works and construction activities
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
