Job summary

RGB seeks an experienced Project Manager for a contract role in Ipswich, overseeing delivery of multiple civil engineering schemes from pre-construction to completion. You will manage programmes, budgets and site teams to ensure works meet safety, time and specification.

The day rate ranges £425–£550 via PAYE umbrella, negotiable by experience. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will lead Site Agents, Engineers and subcontractors, drive progress meetings, and maintain project documentation

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering.
• Strong background delivering infrastructure and environmental projects.
• Experience with NEC contracts and NEC-based procurement.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects safely, on programme and within budget.
• Leading Site Agents, Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
• Developing and maintaining project programmes.
• Managing client relationships and attending progress meetings.
• Overseeing quality assurance, ITPs and project documentation.
• Monitoring project performance, risks and opportunities.
• Working closely with commercial teams to ensure cost control.
• Coordinating design, temporary works and construction activities.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
