Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking an Employment Specialist to join the Connect to Work team and deliver the IPS model to help people facing barriers to employment achieve their goals.

You will work with participants, employers and health professionals to provide recovery-focused support, helping individuals secure and sustain competitive employment and improve wellbeing through personalised assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience with the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model.
• Experience helping people with complex barriers to employment, including health conditions and disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred employment support using the IPS model.
• Support individuals to identify strengths, secure sustainable employment and thrive in the workplace.
• Engage with employers, health professionals and community partners to create opportunities and sustain work.
