Job summary

Rethink Mental Illness is seeking an IPS Employment Specialist to work with clients with mental health support needs in Coventry and Warwickshire. You will manage a caseload, deliver IPS, assess goals, and support job search activities using person-centred guidance.

Training in IPS will be provided; a degree and IT literacy are expected. The role focuses on developing relationships with local employers, clinicians, and community services to promote recovery through employment.

Qualifications

• Essential: Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Desirable: Trained in IPS approach
• Desirable: Level 3 Diploma in Employability Services Sector
• Desirable: QCF in Advice & Guidance (Level 3)
• Experience/understanding of working with people with mental health support needs or similar client group

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients with mental health support needs.
• Deliver the IPS approach with training provided.
• Meet clients to understand skills, aspirations and goals.
• Provide job search support, CVs, applications and interview guidance.
• Source job opportunities and liaise with local employers.
• Build relationships with clinical teams and external agencies for referrals.
