Job summary

Rethink Mental Illness is seeking an IPS Employment Specialist to support clients with mental health needs in securing sustainable paid employment across Coventry and Warwickshire.

You will deliver IPS with training provided, manage a caseload, conduct vocational profiling and action planning, and work with local employers to create opportunities for clients to move into suitable employment.

Qualifications

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent experience
• Trained in IPS approach
• Level 3 Diploma in Employability Services Sector Qualification
• QCF in Advice & Guidance (Level 3)

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients with mental health support needs and support their return to work
• Deliver the IPS approach with training provided
• Assess clients' skills, aspirations and goals via Vocational Profile and Action Plan
• Assist with job search, CV production, applications and interview techniques
• Engage with employers to build relationships and opportunities
• Maintain accurate case notes and administrative records
• Attend weekly clinical team meetings as an IPS practitioner
