Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool is seeking an Employment Specialist to deliver the Individual Placement Support (IPS) model and help people with mental health challenges gain and sustain paid work across Liverpool City Region.

You will work with employers, provide ongoing support, and participate in a team focused on recovery and social inclusion, with flexible working arrangements and opportunities to travel to meet colleagues, service users and local employers.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent or demonstrable experience is required.
• Experience in IPS delivery and knowledge of local labour market are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IPS as part of the holistic recovery plan for mental health service users.
• Build partnerships with employers and provide ongoing support.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication

Education

Educated to degree level or equivalent or demonstrable experience

Level 3 Diploma in Employability Services Sector

Trained in IPS Delivery Model

NVQ level 3 in Care or Learning Disability related
