Job summary

Red Sector Recruitment Limited is seeking an IPS Employment Specialist for a 3-month contract in Walthamstow. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and focuses on helping clients secure sustainable paid employment through the IPS approach.

You will manage a caseload in structured treatment for drug and/or alcohol use, delivering person-centered advice and building relationships with local employers to enable movement into suitable employment. DBS on the Update Service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in employment support for substance misuse clients.
• Familiarity with IPS approach or willingness to train.
• DBS check (Enhanced Adults and Children) required.

Job description

We are currently seeking an IPS Employment Specialist on an initial 3 Month Contract for a Substance Misuse service located in Walthamstow.

This will be a Full Time position, Monday to Friday.

You will manage a caseload of clients in structured treatment for drug and/ or alcohol use to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach (for which training will be given); providing person centered advice and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.

You will work as part of a community drug and alcohol treatment service, maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery through employment.

An Enhanced Adults and Childrens DBS on the Update Service is Essential
