Job summary

Get Set UK is recruiting an IPS Employment Specialist to help people with ongoing health needs move into paid work across Essex. You will build vocational profiles, support job searches, and coordinate with NHS teams and employers.

You will travel daily between clinical, community and employer locations, manage your own caseload, meet targets, and receive full IPS training and ongoing supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience providing one-to-one advice, guidance or practical support to adults or young adults.
• Evidence of building trust, motivating people and maintaining professional boundaries.
• Experience managing a caseload with accurate records and follow-through.
• Confident communication with diverse stakeholders and willingness to engage employers.
• Track record of working towards outcomes or targets with results.

Responsibilities

• Build vocational profiles with each person and turn goals into an active job search.
• Work as part of NHS clinical teams, attend meetings and share wellbeing concerns.
• Approach employers directly to identify opportunities and placements.
• Help people stay in work and support those already employed who face challenges.
